Godfrey began his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1990s and quickly gained popularity for his energetic and unpredictable performances. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including "30 Rock," "Louie," and has also acted in several films, including "Zoolander," "Soul Plane," and "Original Gangstas."

In addition to his work as a comedian and actor, Godfrey has also worked as a writer, contributing material to the comedy sketch show "In Living Color" and serving as a writer and performer on the comedy series "The It Factor."

Known for his sharp wit and irreverent humor, Godfrey has become one of the most popular and respected comedians in the United States, performing to sold-out audiences across the country and around the world.
