We are always looking for the next local comedy genius. Whether you’re a professional comedian, an amateur rising up the ranks or just someone with a great sense of humor who prefers to stay out of the spotlight – you can participate in our community and contribute to the site.

Everyone in this city can help to keep Louisville funny.

Currently, we’re looking for humorous articles, mashups, top ten lists, and other writing that relates to people in the Louisville area. Video sketches, stand-up clips, songs and other multimedia are also welcome to be submitted for publishing here. We’ve got a reach of 1.3 million people in this city, and we want to showcase your talent to all of them.

  • All writing, videos, songs, etc. must be your own original work. (No stealing material!)
  • Articles must be at least 800 words in length. Videos should include a 2-3 paragraph introduction.
  • Content submitted should preferably be about the Louisville area in some fashion.

    • Our standards are pretty high, but we typically accept over 90% of all submissions. Don’t worry, we’ll correct grammar & spelling. Our goal is to make you, a proud and funny Louisville citizen, the star of the show. We’ll even put a 2-3 sentence bio and photo of yourself underneath your article (as long as you provide us with it) and a link to either your personal website, Facebook profile or Twitter account so our readers can praise your work.

    All contributors to the site (even if it’s just one article) receive free admission to any Louisville Comedy.com show produced in the area. It’s our way of expressing thanks for being part of the community!
